THE PROBLEM
Do you often feel overwhelmed by the brokenness in the world?  We see problems like poverty, addiction, abuse, and homelessness around us and its easy to feel powerless. 

However, when you begin to look deeper, you start to see commonalities; root causes of the epidemic.  Each of these adults was once a child. And so often the root of their situations began with trauma during childhood.   

​These children grow up around abuse, addiction, crime, and unhealthy relationships.  How can we expect a child to become a healthy, successful adult when they have never seen any other option?
​A child from crisis is more likely to: 
-  have sex before age 16
- run away 
- become a member of a gang
- attack someone or get into a fight
- have a child by the age of 18
​- be charged with a crime by the age of 24
​​A child from crisis is less likely to: 
- earn a high school diploma 
- graduate from a four year college 
- remain consistently-connected to school and/or the labor market between ages 18 and 24

THE SOLUTION

Still Creek is standing in the gap, providing a loving family and safe home to children in need. 
Over the last 30 years, Still Creek has cultivated a specific way to restore children from CRISIS to NEW CREATION.
The "Three Main Things," as we call them, are key in raising children into ​adults who
​have healthy relationships, are self-sufficient, and seek God in all they do. 

Gospel

Introduce children to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, engendering long lasting and authentic transformation in their lives. ​

Education

Provide an education that will open doors to their future.  By opening doors to college, trade school, and careers, we end the generational cycle of homelessness and crime.​

Work Ethic

Teach responsibility and a strong work ethic which will help them overcome life's many obstacles. This creates a culture of working hard and giving back to the community. ​

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

There is a need for more beds for children coming from crisis situations.  To help meet this need and rescue more children, Still Creek has a goal to increase capacity to 32 children by Fall 2018.

​You can help accomplish this by committing
to donate $1 per child each month ($32/month). 

This commitment will provide the financial security to be able to rescue more children in need.
