STILL CREEK CHRSTIAN SCHOOL
Still Creek School is a private boarding school for grades 4 through 12. We have small classrooms and do not teach more than 10 students per class. Our school is accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
The goal of Still Creek Christian School is to equip, enlighten and educate each child to the fullest of their ability. We desire to develop each student's God given spiritual, social, physical, mental, and artistic gifts and to lead each student towards spiritual maturity. The school is interdenominational and not affiliated with any particular church.

Accredited since 1991, most of our Still Creek Christian School graduates go to college, military service, trade school or full-time employment. In addition to all core subjects, we offer a wide variety of vocational training such as mechanics, carpentry, horticulture, welding, agriculture and homemaking.
|

One of our vocational programs, Horticulture, includes the knowledge of plants and flowers, landscaping, and gardening. We have a large green house and many green thumbs.
We are always looking for volunteers to help in these areas.
Our school offers guitar lessons as part of music class. We plan on enlarging our music program, as the instruments come in. Used instruments are always welcome.
 |
We have a nice computer lab, science lab, library, weight room, and gymnasium. We have a trade school where we teach welding, woodshop, homemaking, Ag. construction, horsemanship and auto mechanics. |

Horsemanship
It is a powerful thing to watch a child's life transformed by the responsibility given to them in training and loving a horse. In a unique way, a child who has never had control of anything in his/her life, now has an animal in their care to train and build a relationship with. It is challenging, and yet healing. It requires commitment, responsibility and self discipline--qualities which are usually lacking. As the children progress in horsemanship, these qualities continue to grow, so does their self-esteem. It never ceases to amaze us, the creative tools the Lord uses to heal and restore our children.

Proven Results
Each student's story is unique. We desire to meet individual needs. Children who had learning difficulties prior to attending our school have excelled quickly because of the small class rooms and individual tutors. Still Creek Christian School graduates go on to college or trade school to finish their studies. We continue to see students earn diplomas who are first generation high school graduates in some cases. Our graduates have become productive young adults in the military, work force and college.
Testimony:
Jody came to Still Creek Ranch at age 10, and graduated at Still Creek Christian School at 18 years. We sent him to be trained as a welder in Waco. He returned and is now our welding teacher on Fridays. He also works for us on welding jobs such as our arena, cow pens, cattle guards, etc. He is married and has a sweet family. Thanks to Still Creek Christian School, Jody became the man he is today. He is now depositing in other children as he had been deposited into himself. Along with working with our kids, he and his dad run an automotive shop near Bryan. Jody is just one story of how a life can be transformed by the miraclous power of Christ our healer.
