Girl’s Home
In 1995 a piece of property was donated to Still Creek on Grassbur Road. The funds were raised to build a girls home. In March 1998 it opened; now houses 5 girls, and by the end of the summer will house 9.
The girls’ home, Morning Glory Cottage, was built by the Jensen Foundation. It has 5500 sq. ft. The girls have lovely rooms with alot of space. Each child’s room has a private bathroom and living room. There is a spacious kitchen for the girls to learn to cook in, as well as help with meals. Cooking is a very important opportunity we offer the girls, especially.
The Glory Inn is also located on this piece of property.
